The year is 2016. A little over a decade ago, gates to other worlds appeared in Tokyo, Japan, bringing with them beings and phenomena never seen before. To protect the lives of those outside of the city, and to contain the gates themselves, the city was sealed off, letting no one in or out.
With the rise of a popular app that lets its user bend reality to their will in recent years, residents of this new Tokyo have created factions and guilds, each standing for their own mythos and beliefs above all things. They share one goal: win the game the app promotes, and gain a wish that will help you rule over Tokyo itself.
With no memory of who they are or where they came from, Sora Watanabe awakens in this new Tokyo, unprepared for the dangers that await them. Tasked with the single goal of returning home, wherever it might be, they venture forth into a world that holds both beauty and danger surrounded on all sides by a wall that towers over everything.
